I fell in love with advertising while looking through National Geographic Travel magazines as a kid and dog-earing pages with ads I liked. Machu Picchu? Pretty. But a Subaru centerfold with the most compelling headline I had ever encountered? That was the page that got torn out and taped to my wall.
I’ve been in the ad industry for 7 years now, and my inspiration wall now includes ads and campaign materials that I’ve helped create. I’ve written for Marriott Bonvoy, Giant Food, Hilton, The Home Depot, Florida OJ, Atlantic Union Bank, and more. My favorite part of the job (other than awesome teammates) is developing authentic brand voices that actually speak to people.
I’m currently a freelance copywriter in Atlanta, Ga and open to new roles. In my spare time you can find me in one of Decatur’s many coffee shops writing my gothic vampire series. I’m also mom to a black cat/immortal witch (more of a roommate, really). And, of course, I drive a Subaru.
